A New Technique!!

Most of the time I watercolor the images on my cards. I love the look and, for me, it's quick and easy! But I have seen cards that look they have been watercolored, but are created using mineral spirit and a stump! Hmm...what the heck is a stump? Well, I read more about this process and got myself some stumps....paper stumps, that is. I used regular colored pencils, dipped my stump into the mineral spirits and blended away. This is called 'Gamsol Magic' at Splitcoaststampers and these are my first attempts at this new technique for me!

Janet, these are wonderful! I too have been trying this new technique (for me). I love what you have done with yours.

Wonderful job. I've tried Gamsol and found it takes practice. Looks like you got it immediately. Beautiful work. Linda

Wish I would have seen these last night when I was struggling for a card design. Very cute!
